i know that spring has sprung...but as you know, i'm a little behind ;)
i am always more than ready to have the last dreary weeks of winter behind me, and look forward to the sunshine...the fresh color of green on the trees...getting rid of ALL those fat-winter coats & heavy boots...and getting outside to smell that spring air...at least it smells different to me!!
here is dodge in his dirtbike gear...this is a big year for him...he has dirtbike boots like big brother, and he can now ride the 50 all by himself!!! last year we had to run next to him cuz his feet didn't reach the ground. now he can get ONE foot down & balance...he also starts it all on his own - he is growing up!! we went from snowmobiles to dirtbikes!
a robin made her nest in our CHRISTMAS TREE that we set out by the barn...i never would have guessed while decroating the tree during a snow storm that come spring, a robin would make her home there! three little birds...new life.
morel mushrooms....found in the blendon area. and thats all i'm saying.....oh, and they were delish!
we had so many monsoon rains, i thought it would never end!! when life gives you lemons, make lemonade! the boys had too much fun...the path that cuts through pret's woods looked more like a river. did i ever have a TON of laundry & thank goodness for rubber boots!
