go to the...


for valentines day, we sent the kids on a wild goose chase, using notes that started with "go to the..."




since dawson can read, i thought this would be fun for them. they were freakin' out cute...


i also made hearts for my 3 boys, with 3 things that i love about each of them (making sure they were all unique from the other) sometimes i think they need to be reminded of what makes them "special"...so valentines day is the perfect time to do it!!

we had a really fun day, and as promised...we had tacos for supper ;) well, the kids did...doug & I had burritos - with candles, of course!!




oh, and i had to add....dawson was invited to his cousin Levi's house today...dodge cried sooooo hard, i thought he was going to puke! anyway, big brother felt so bad for him, that he gave ALL of his valentnes - i'm talkin candy,cards,tattoos...everything - to dodge. you have such a giving heart, dawson jay...we love you!!

    Oh my...are you Kate Goslin? (from Jon & Kate plus 8?) I just got done watching their Valentine's episode and she also sent her kids on a scavenger hunt, made heart pancakes and grilled cheese sandwiches! No wonder my kids love you to death, I did nothing for my kids...now I feel bad! Really bad! I guess I was kinda busy going to urgent care and getting groceries that were so over due. Still no excuse!

    So cute!! BUT I felt awful when I read this too. Zak and I didn't even get cards for eachother.
